En este webinario se presentarán las principales conclusiones del informe y las actualizaciones de la Plataforma Regional de Mercados de Carbono, y se ofrecerá un espacio para el diálogo con los representantes de los países y las organizaciones implicadas en el avance de la aplicación del Artículo 6 en la región. El diálogo destacará las experiencias de los países en la priorización de actividades, el desarrollo de hojas de ruta y la adopción de enfoques cooperativos en el marco del Artículo 6. También ofrecerá una oportunidad para que los organismos multilaterales y las organizaciones de la sociedad civil participen en el diálogo. También será una oportunidad para que las organizaciones multilaterales y los donantes compartan las iniciativas en desarrollo y la forma en que apoyan los esfuerzos nacionales, incluido el aprovechamiento del desarrollo de una plataforma regional.

El Centro de Colaboración Regional para América Latina (RCC LatAm), en coordinación con el Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP), organizará este webinario para lanzar la versión en inglés del informe. El evento tiene como objetivo fomentar el intercambio de experiencias, mostrar las mejores prácticas y explorar las oportunidades de colaboración regional en torno a la aplicación del Artículo 6.

¿Cómo registrarse?

Luego, deberá indicar el nombre de su organización o Parte.

¡Importante! Las categorías de Organizaciones intergubernamentales (OIG) y Organizaciones no gubernamentales (ONG) deben ser utilizadas únicamente por representantes de OIG y ONG que cuenten con estatus de observador ante la CMNUCC (ver: lista de ONG admitidas, lista de OIG admitidas). En caso de que su ONG u OIG no sea observadora, seleccione la categoría "Other".

¿Recibiré una confirmación de mi registro?
Una vez que haya completado el registro, recibirá una notificación por correo electrónico confirmando que se ha registrado para este evento. Posteriormente, será notificado(a) una vez que la secretaría haya aprobado su registro.

ENGLISH VERSION

This webinar will present the key findings of the report and the updates on the Regional Carbon Markets Platform, as well as offer a space for dialogue with country representatives and organizations involved in advancing Article 6 implementation in the region. The discussion will highlight countries’ experiences with prioritizing activities, developing roadmaps, and engaging in cooperative approaches under Article 6. It will also provide an opportunity for multilateral organizations and donors to share ongoing initiatives and how they support national efforts, including leveraging the development of a regional platform.

The Regional Collaboration Centre for Latin America (RCC LatAm), in coordination with the Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP), will host this webinar to launch the English version of the report. The event aims to foster experience-sharing, showcase best practices, and explore opportunities for regional collaboration around the implementation of Article 6.

How to register?

To register for this event, click on the "Register now" button below. 

In case this is your first time using INDICO for registering for UN events, you will be required to create an account. What should I select in the "Representation" section? 

In the registration form, you will be asked to indicate the type of the organization that you represent, selecting from the following drop-down list: 

• Parties (for representatives of the Parties to UNFCCC)

• United Nations Secretariat units and bodies

• Specialized agencies and related organizations

• Intergovernmental organizations (IGOs)

• Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)

• Media 

• Other

Then, you will have to indicate the name of your organization/Party. 

Important! The Intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) and Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) categories should only be used by representatives of NGOs and IGOs that have observer status with UNFCCC (see: list of admitted NGOs, list of admitted IGOs). In case your NGO or IGO is not an observer, please select the "Other" category. 

Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?  

Once you have completed the registration, you will receive an email notification confirming that you have registered for this event. Subsequently, you will be notified that your registration has been approved by the secretariat. 

How do I receive the link to join the event online? 

The link to join the event will be included in the registration confirmation email.
