Space4Water stakeholder meetings are an opportunity for the experts to exchange, and collaborate hands on on technical matters to address pressing water challenges by using space-based technologies and data. The meetings strenghten the community of practice in which mutual learning and exchange takes place.

The event organisers encourage in-person participation. Hands on collaboration with several break out rooms is possible online but the same quality of interaction cannot be guaranteed.
IMPORTANT DEADLINES
31 March 2025: Deadline for applications for funding (requirement is to submit a water challenge with detailed background information, or a country case study). You are requested to apply for your visa yourself
30 April 2025: Application deadline for those submitting a country case study, water challenge or space-based solution, but are self-funded. Please take into account the times to receive a visa for Austria at the respective embassy or consulate may take more than five weeks, and apply early if you need a visa.
15 May2023: Deadline for self-funded applicants with no presentation during the meeting.
HOW TO REGISTER FOR THE MEETING
Indico.UN is the new UN secretariat system for conference and participant management. It is being deployed in all the UN Secretariats' duty stations.

2. Now that you have your Indico.UN account, kindly click on the registration button and pick either of the forms available:
Registration for self-funded participants
or
Registration and funding application
Only a limited number of participants from developing countries can be funded. If you/your organization can fund your travels, please do so to allow participants who cannot fund their travels to attend.
Please do not apply to both forms to avoid duplicate registrations.
