On the occassion of the UN International Day of Commemoration and Dignity of the Victims of the Crime of Genocide and of the Prevention of this Crime (9 December), UNESCO and the Foundation Rememberance, Responsibility and Future (EVZ) are showcasing the photo exhbition, Ma Bistrass! - Lest We Forget, by UNESCO Artist for Peace Luigi Toscano. The exhibition features portraits of the survivors of the genocide of the Roma and Sinti perpetrated by Naxi Germany, its allies and collaborators.
The exhibition will be visible at UNESCO from 5 to 19 December 2024. An inauguration of the exhibition will take place on Friday, 13 December 2024 at 16:30 in the Miro Hall at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France. Advanced registration is required to attend the inauguration.
