The WHO International Pathogen Surveillance Network (IPSN) and the Centre for Pathogen Genomics are co-hosting the inaugural pathogen genomics training and implementation workshop.
This will be the first workshop, to be held in the WPRO and SEARO Regions, inviting global and regional leaders delivering and coordinating pathogen genomics capacity building.
The Asia-Pacific Pathogen Genomics Workshop: Sustainable training and implementation framework for public health (Workshop) seeks to:
- Coordinate and harmonise training initiatives and resources to maximise efficiency, value of investment and public health impact.
- Develop a framework for sustainable pathogen genomics training and implementation for public health.
- Foster a connected global network of pathogen genomics trainers and implementers.
