UN ESCWA has initiated an art competition campaign under the title: ALWAN ESCWA
It is open to all the children aged between 5 to 15 years old to present their hand-made artistic work on an A-3 size paper or a handheld sculpture/3D creation for display at the UN House.
This is a call for submission to Alwan ESCWA competition.
The submissions will be divided to 2 age groups, ages 5 to 9 and ages 10 to 15.
The theme for this cycle is on Peace. Each art work will be selected by a panel and once selected will be displayed at the UN house for the Sept 21, 2024 international day on Peace: Cultivating a Culture of Peace. https://www.un.org/en/observances/international-day-peace
