Media accreditation is strictly reserved for members of the press: print, photo, radio, television, film, news agencies, and online media who represent a bona fide media organization.
Members of the press as defined above can register through the ‘Register here’ button below.
The following documents must be uploaded on the INDICO registration form at the time of registration:
- A valid press/media ID issued by the government/ media house/ journalists' association.
- A letter of assignment from the media house the journalist works for, if the journalist does not have a press pass
- Links to pieces published over the past 6 months
- A color photograph (with a white, grey, or neutral color background) of the representative (photo requirements provided in the following registration form).
- The passport biographical page of the representative.
Deadline for registration is 31 October 2024.
There's no formal limit to how many journalists one media house can register, but space/other logistical issues may force the INC to limit media numbers.
Members of the Committee can register media, including journalists in their delegation and official photo and video personnel, on-site at the venue, by providing an official note from the Permanent Mission or the Embassy, along with a copy of a valid passport.
Visa: Accredited members of the media in need of an entry visa to the Republic of Korea are strongly recommended to apply for the visa at least 4 weeks prior to the fifth session of the INC (INC-5).
Please acquaint yourself with the entry requirements and processes to obtain an entry visa to the Republic of Korea by consulting the Visa Navigator website for general information on visa application, including the application result. It is strongly encouraged that media requiring a visa contact their nearest Korean Embassy or Consulate for detailed information - more information here.
