Registration on the Indico platform is now closed. The provisional list of participants is posted on the webpage of the Reconvened concluding session of the Ad Hoc Committee.  Delegations are kindly requested to transmit any changes supported by a note verbale or official letter to cybercrimeahc@un.org by 9 August 2024.

Registration period

Registration is open from Monday, 1 July to Friday, 26 July 2024, 6 p.m., New York time.

Delegates of other interested relevant non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, academic institutions and private sector organizations (as per para. 9 of General Assembly resolution 75/282), which were approved by the Ad Hoc Committee (see list here) need to register in Indico by Monday, 22 July, 6 p.m., New York time. 

Venue

The plenary meetings will be held in Conference Room 3 at United Nations Headquarters (UNHQ). The session will be held in the six official languages of the United Nations.

Webcast

The plenary meetings of the session are available on the UN WebTV webcast, which is public and does not require registration.

Important information for Member States

An official note verbale issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or an accredited Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York or Vienna containing the Government’s official delegation to the meeting (including names, titles and email addresses of the entire delegation) is required to register through Indico. Each delegate is required to attach a copy of the note verbale to her/his registration request in Indico.

The provided email address may be used by the secretariat to communicate information pertaining to the session. For example, in case open-ended informal consultations have an online component, governmental delegates who are registered in Indico will receive the access details at the email address provided.

Important information for Organizations

An official letter, with letterhead and signed by the Head of the organization, with the details of the participants that shall attend the meeting (name, title/function, workplace and email address) is required to register through Indico. Each delegate is required to attach a copy of the official letter to her/his registration request in Indico.

Grounds passes for representatives of other relevant non-governmental organizations, civil society organizations, academic institutions and the private sector (see list here) are issued by the UN Pass & ID Office. In order to receive a grounds pass, these participants are required to enter in Indico their date of birth, nationality and their passport number. Participant’s names need to be entered exactly as in their passports that they will present at the UN Pass & ID Office when collecting their grounds passes. Participants also need to upload a photo in Indico. Collection of these grounds passes takes place at the UN Pass and ID Office which is located at 320 East 45th Street. The opening hours of the Office are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.  

UN entities, IGOs and NGOs with ECOSOC status can find information about the collection of grounds passes on the webpage of the meeting.

The provided email address may be used by the secretariat to communicate information pertaining to the session and data may be used in order to issue grounds passes for representatives of other relevant organizations.

List of participants

Participants, who register by the deadline in Indico are included in the provisional list of participants, which is circulated during the meeting. Additions, which are included in the final list of participants, may be made by submitting a note verbale to the secretariat by 16 August.
