Welcome to the application for Special Accreditation to the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4).
The UN General Assembly, in its resolution 78/231 decided to convene a fourth Financing for Development Conference (FfD4) in Seville, Spain from 30 June - to 3 July 2025 to, inter alia, assess the progress made in the implementation of the Monterrey Consensus, the Doha Declaration and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda, identifying obstacles and constraints encountered in the achievement of the goals and objectives agreed therein, as well as actions and initiatives to overcome these constraints, and to address new and emerging issues, including in the context of the urgent need to accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals and to support reform of the international financial architecture.
As guided by A/CONF.227/2024/PC/L., other relevant stakeholders, including Civil Society Organizations, Academia, Private sector and Non-Governmental Organizations NOT in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council wishing to participate in the Conference and whose work is relevant to the topic of the International Conference, MUST APPLY FOR SPECIAL ACCREDITATION by following the "REGISTER NOW" link at the bottom of this page.
The deadline for submitting applications is 11:59 pm [EST] on 21 February 2025.
You do NOT need to apply for special accreditation if your organization:
- Has consultative status with ECOSOC, or
- Received special accreditation for previous International Conferences on Financing for Development (FfD), including the first and second rounds of special accreditations for FfD4. Please refer to the consolidated list [here].
Please note:
*This ad-hoc special accreditation is applied at the organizational level, requiring only one application per entity. Individuals may not apply for special accreditation.
*Projects fiscally sponsored by parent entities may not apply for accreditation. The fiscal sponsor must apply with proof of its legal status. Only entities with their own legal status may apply for special ad hoc accreditation.
*Organizations approved for participation will be informed and will receive additional instructions regarding the registration process for their representatives.
*Stakeholder applications will be reviewed by Member States in accordance with the relevant GA Resolution. The name of the organization and country will be shared with the Member States, and other information, including but not limited to the homepage and/or the reason for participation, may also be shared if requested.
