Health Emergency and Disaster Risk Management meeting

This joint workshop between EMRO, EURO, and WKC will provide a concrete guide on how to promote research in regions and countries.

The three-day in-person workshop will consist of plenary sessions, panel discussions, group works, and interactive training sessions. The plenary sessions and panel discussions will focus on recent developments in health emergency and disaster risk management research, as well as the challenges faced by regions and countries. The training sessions will cover a step-by-step guide for research promotion, existing data sources, and research methodologies including data collection, analysis, and dissemination.

Expected Outcomes:

• Increased knowledge and awareness of recent developments in DRR / Health EDRM research and evidence
• Improved capacity for research in Health EDRM
• Enhanced collaboration and networking among researchers and stakeholders in the field
• Identified opportunities for future research and research collaboration in Health EDRM
