- To build a consensus on a core outcome set (COS) for maternal and perinatal health research and surveillance in the context of ongoing and emerging epidemic threats, based on the results of a literature review and expert consultations;
- To examine the validity, reliability and feasibility of the identified measurement tools and instruments; and
- To discuss and reach a consensus on the definitions of outcomes and measurement methods outlined in the COS.
