ABOUT On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s birth the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation presents a piano concert performed by Maestro Konstantin Scherbakov. Rachmaninoff is widely considered to be one of the finest pianists of his day and, as a composer, one of the last great representatives of Romanticism in Russian classical music.
