The main objectives of this meeting are as follows:
- review the progress made by WHO, FAO and UNEP on pesticide management activities since the last JMPM meeting held in 2022;
- Review progress of development of new normative guidance documents on pesticide management;
- Review progress of revision of existing normative guidance documents on pesticide management;
- Plan and develop new guidelines and review existing guidelines (and related issues), and
- identify priority and emerging issues in pesticide management, including gaps and challenges and make recommendation to FAO and WHO.
