UNU-WIDER organizes an ETMOD Retreat in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 15-19 May 2023. The retreat is a capacity development activity under the Institute’s SOUTHMOD - simulating tax and benefit policies for development - Phase 2 project with the aim to support participants to utilise tax-benefit microsimulation model for Ethiopia, ETMOD to evaluate distributional and budgetary effects of tax-benefit policies in Ethiopia and to implement an ex-ante policy analysis; to guide the participant to produce a quality policy note; and to promote dialogue between participants and professionals in the microsimulation stream.
