At this session, the Working Group will continue to monitor and review progress made in the promotion and implementation of the right to development. It will hold an interactive dialogue with the Special Rapporteur on the right to development and with the Chair of the Expert Mechanism on the Right to Development.

The Working Group will also consider the interrelationship between the right to development and the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the interrelationship between the right to development and the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, and the contribution of the right to development towards combating discrimination, including racial discrimination. The Working Group will also consider the programme of work of its 26th session and adopt conclusions and recommendations.
