This registration portal is ONLY for representatives of organizations listed below that have received special accreditation to attend the UN 2023 Water Conference. 

  • Organizations that have received accreditation from the UN General Assembly to The World Summit on Sustainable Development.
  • Organizations that have received Special Accreditation from the UN General Assembly to participate in the UN 2023 Water Conference.

Please Note 

  • Each Organization will be able to register up to Ten (10) representatives. If more than ten are registered under one organization, the Secretariat will approve registrations on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • Registration doesn't guarantee in-person participation. If your registration is approved, you will receive an approval letter confirming your in-person participation. 
  • The deadline for registration is 10 February 2023 (5 pm ET).

Background

The United Nations Conference on the Midterm Comprehensive Review of the Implementation of the Objectives of the International Decade for Action on “Water for Sustainable Development”, 2018-2028 (“the United Nations 2023 Water Conference”) is scheduled to take place at United Nations Headquarters in New York from 22 to 24 March 2023, in accordance with United Nations General Assembly resolutions 73/226 and 75/212.

The Conference, co-hosted by the Governments of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs serving as the Conference Secretariat, with the support of UN-Water, aims to accelerate action on the internationally agreed water-related goals and targets, including those contained in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
