The IHR Review Committee regarding amendments to International Health Regulations (2005) (IHR) is convened pursuant to Articles 50.1.(a)2 and 47 of the IHR, as well as Decision WHA75(9).
The purpose of this Review Committee is to provide technical recommendations to the Director-General on amendments proposed by State Parties to the IHR, as decided by the Health Assembly in Decision WHA75(9).
The Review Committee has been convened and held the following meetings: 6 October, 24 to 28 October, 16 and 17 November and 28 November to 2 December 2022. The next meeting will take place 9 to 13 January 2023.
WHO Member States / States Parties to the IHR, the United Nations and its specialized agencies, and other relevant intergovernmental organizations or nongovernmental organizations in official relations with WHO are invited to designate a representative to attend a dedicated session taking place on Thursday 12 January 2023 from 9:30 to 12:30 at WHO headquarters in Geneva.

Requirements for visitors to access WHO headquarters premises:
Vaccinated visitor: bring your COVID-19 vaccination medical certificate and present it to the WHO reception (even if the vaccination pass is no longer valid).
Unvaccinated visitor: No entry to the WHO is possible. COVID-19 tests (PCR-RAT or self test) are not accepted except exceptional directives from the management as during WHA. The entrance to WHO premises may be modified depending on the epidemic context.
