The Mediterranean region is a climate change “hotspot” which this year again witnessed prolonged periods of extremely high temperatures and heatwaves resulting in devastating wildfires.
The Government of Greece with the support of the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction Offices for Europe and Arab States organizes this action-oriented dialogue to address this issue at the highest political and technical level in order to promote partnerships and the development of specific actions a sub-regional, national and/or local level.
Three sessions of this dialogue will be available through online participation for experience sharing among Mediterranean stakeholders and beyond.
