The Team of Specialists (ToS) on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Traceability of Sustainable Value Chains in the Circular Economy aims at contributing to better and more informed decisions for sustainable production and consumption, through ESG traceability approaches and systems for the exchange of data and information along global value chain, in priority industries for the circular transition.
UNECE, together with its UN/CEFACT, is uniquely placed thanks to over 950 e-business standards, almost 50 trade facilitation recommendations, and a network of 1600 experts to guide stakeholders’ on traceability best practices and to address information exchange needs.
The second session of the Team of Specialists will focus on ESG traceability landscapes in the UNECE region including policies, legislative frameworks and institutional arrangements and on transformative pathways to sustainability: corporate strategies and actions. A special attention will be given to monitoring and reporting on net-zero targets in value chains.
