REGISTRATION
Delegates intending to attend the 9th Meeting of the Parties to the Espoo Convention and the 5th Meeting of the Parties to the Protocol on SEA are kindly requested to register by 30 October 2023.
In order to ensure the receipt of important correspondence relating to the Meeting and to facilitate the Secretariat in making all the necessary practical arrangements in a timely manner, participants are strongly encouraged to register online in advance, regardless of whether they hold UNOG Long Duration badges.
Instructions for Indico Registration:
Step 1 - Account Creation. If you don't have an account yet, create one. If you already have an account, proceed to step 2.
- Go to the registration page by copying this link: https://indico.un.org/register/ onto the recommended browser such as Firefox, Chrome, or Microsoft Edge.
- Next, complete the account creation form, then press Confirm to proceed.
- You should receive an email containing an activation link. Please click on the link to activate your account.

Step 2: Register for the meeting.
- By this time you will have already set up and verified your profile on the new UNOG Online Registration and Accreditation System (one-time exercise).
- Go to the meeting registration page: https://indico.un.org/event/1002271/ (please copy the link and paste it into a recommended browser: Firefox, Chrome and Microsoft Edge).
- Click the "Register now" button. If you're not logged in yet, you'll be redirected to the login page where you can enter your username (email) and password.
- Fill in the registration form and select Submit.
- Once you have registered, you will receive an email informing you of the receipt of your registration. It will also indicate that approval is pending.
- As soon as the Secretariat completes the processing of your registration, you will be sent a confirmation email.
