There are three ways for NGOs to participate at the HLPF:
- Does your organization have ECOSOC Consultative status? In order to attend the 2022 HLPF, Organizations that have ECOSOC Consultative Status must have an annual or temporary UN Grounds Pass in addition to completing this HLPF Registration form. Organizations in consultative status with ECOSOC must request grounds passes to attend the HLPF. These passes should be requested as soon as possible, and no later than 30 June. Organizations that are in consultative status with ECOSOC can request up to 9 temporary grounds passes at a time, in addition to 7 annual grounds passes. These passes need to be requested through the Integrated Civil Society Organizations System (iCSO). - Is your organization on the CSD Roster? In order to attend the 2022 HLPF, organizations on the CSD Roster must complete the HLPF Registration Form to request temporary grounds passes for the HLPF. CSD Roster organizations can request up to 5 temporary grounds passes. Once the registration is approved, a confirmation will be sent. Information on how to obtain temporary grounds passes for organizations on CSD Roster will be sent to approved participants after registration is closed. - What if your organization does not have ECOSOC Status and is not it on the CSD Roster? Being accredited to the UN is not a prerequisite to participate at the HLPF. The Major Groups and other Stakeholders (MGoS) may choose, at their discretion, to include representatives of these organizations under their umbrella so that they may participate on behalf of accredited organizations. If you are registering through an umbrella organization through one of the MGoS, please do not use this form. Instead contact the Focal Point umbrella organization of your MGoS.
