The forum of candidates for the post of Director General will be held on 25 May 2021 in a hybrid format involving both in-person and virtual participation.
In accordance with the procedures for the candidates’ forum for the selection of the Director General contained in the annex to document IDB.48/27, the meeting, to be chaired by the President of the Board, will be open to all Member States. The observers (Holy See, Sovereign Order of Malta), accredited intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) that express interest, as well as the Staff Council representatives (President and two Vice-Presidents) may also attend the forum.
In-person attendees can, in line with the limitations described in the modalities, participate in the candidates’ forum at the Vienna International Centre (VIC), in the M-building, Plenary Hall.
In case of virtual attendance, login details for the online platform Interprefy will be shared with registered participants.
