About the Event
The Circular Economy & Green Industry (CEGI) Week 2026 is UNIDO's flagship global forum dedicated to advancing the transition towards circular economy and green industry as a driver of inclusive and sustainable industrial development.
Convening ministers, policymakers, business leaders, financial institutions, international organizations, academia and innovators from around the world, CEGI Week provides a high-level platform to accelerate partnerships, exchange practical solutions and mobilize investments that support more resource-efficient, competitive and resilient industries.
Building on UNIDO General Conference Resolution GC.21/Res.4 on Circular Economy, adopted by Member States in Riyadh in 2025, the event will serve as the first global implementation platform to translate political commitments into concrete action.
Participants will explore how circular economy approaches can strengthen industrial competitiveness, improve resource security, reduce pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, create decent jobs and unlock new investment opportunities across global value chains.
