Building on the ground-breaking work undertaken by UNESCO as part of its Roadmap against Racism and Discrimination, including the Transforming MEN’talities initiative, the 15th International Forum of NGOs in official partnership with UNESCO on “Transforming Mentalities” will seek to gather examples of good practices in challenging the stagnant inequalities within societies and build concrete recommendations for action at the local level.
Organized by the NGO-UNESCO Liaison Committee in cooperation with UNESCO and in accordance with the Directives concerning UNESCO’s partnership with non-governmental organizations (36 C/Resolution 108), this Forum is intended primarily for NGOs in official partnership with the Organization, but is open to other NGOs and institutions, as well as to representatives of Member States. A strong presence of youth representatives will be particularly welcome.

Kindly note that, as customary, the travel and living expenses of representatives must be borne by the organization they represent.

S'appuyant sur le travail novateur mené par l'UNESCO dans le cadre de sa Feuille de route contre le racisme et la discrimination, y compris l'initiative Transformer les MEN'talités, le 15e Forum international des ONG en partenariat officiel avec l’UNESCO sur le thème « Transformer les mentalités » vise à partager des exemples de bonnes pratiques pour lutter contre les inégalités stagnantes au sein des sociétés et à élaborer des recommandations concrètes pour l'action au niveau local.
Organisé par le Comité de liaison ONG-UNESCO en coopération avec le Secrétariat de l’UNESCO conformément aux Directives concernant le partenariat de l’UNESCO avec les organisations non gouvernementales (36 C/Résolution 108), ce Forum s’adresse en priorité aux ONG partenaires officiels de l’Organisation, mais est également ouvert à la participation d’autres ONG et institutions, ainsi qu’à des représentants d’États membres. Une forte présence de représentants de la jeunesse sera particulièrement bienvenue.
