The May 2022 UNAIDS Reference Group meeting will advise on the model enhancements for the 2023 round of estimates. Priority topics for the meeting agenda include:

• HIV testing and treatment ‘churn’
• Mortality on ART, effects of new treatment regimens, and improving viral load suppression
• Key population stratified HIV estimates in sub-Saharan Africa
• Key population stratified estimates in concentrated epidemic settings
• Impact of voluntary medical male circumcision
• Interpretation of routine ANC testing and PMTCT data
• Updates to the Spectrum, EPP, and Naomi models
