The technical consultation meeting will focus on reviewing methods and evidence available on measuring MTCT rates during pregnancy and at the cessation of breastfeeding. The meeting also aims at coming up with agreed upon procedures and near-final protocol of measuring MTCT rates. This will be a strategic information focused technical meeting rather than programme.
