Hosted by the Centre for Sport and Human Rights, the Sporting Chance Forum will be held on 21 and 22 November in Geneva, Switzerland. Building on the success of last year's Forum, which brought together over 300 delegates at the UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, a diverse range of actors in the world of sport will gather this year at the Palais des Nations.
This year's Forum will be co-hosted by the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) – both founding members of the Centre – and the UN Office in Geneva (UNOG). The programme will explore how different actors in the world of sport can use their individual and collective leverage to achieve a world of sport that fully respects human rights. The Forum will feature compelling case studies showing progress made, challenges that remain, and practical solutions for all parties to improve respect for human rights in sport.
Anyone can register to attend the fourth annual Sporting Chance Forum, however, please note that registrations are subject to review and confirmation will be communicated via email.
