UN Women is pleased to host an informal briefing together with CSW Chair, H.E. Mr. Mher Margaryan, Permanent Representative of Armenia to the United Nations in New York, to discuss the results and outcomes of the 63rd Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) which took place at United Nations’ Head Quarters in New York from 11 to 22 March 2019.
Ms. Christine Löw, the Director of the Geneva Liaison Office, will also provide an outlook on next year’s CSW session, which will mark the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action and focus on the review and appraisal of the implementation of the Platform for Action since its adoption in 1995.
The informal briefing will be held in Room XI from 16.30-18.00.
