A world centre for diplomatic, economic and social activities, and the Office of the United Nations in Geneva since 1966, the Palais des Nations welcomes the next PechaKucha Night for a relaxed evening featuring a mix of storytellers from Geneva’s melting pot. Organized in collaboration with CAGI (Geneva Welcome Centre), UNOG (United Nations Office Geneva) and the Swiss Confederation, the event is free, and registration is mandatory. Registrations will open on 9 April. Information on our speakers for the PechaKucha United Nations to be announced soon! What is PechaKucha? • Pechakucha is a multimedia event concept first launched in Tokyo, Japan, which combines informal networking with short, multiple-speaker talk series. • Presentations are in a concise and fast-paced presentation format: 20 slides shown for 20 seconds each - 6 minutes and 40 seconds in total. • Pechakucka nights generally combine a mix of speakers on a wide array of topics and time for informal networking. The format helps make presentations fun and enjoyable, even for complex topics. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: - Entrance is at Pregny gate, Avenue de la Paix 14a, 1202 Genève in front of ICRC - The entrance to the Palais des Nations closes at 18:30 - we recommend you to arrive at least 45 minutes early. - Remember to bring an I.D. with you to go through security. - Registration is limited to 100 people on a first-come, first-served basis.
