About the concert:

To mark the end of the one year presidency of the Human Rights Council, the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Slovenia is hosting a concert of “Marko Hatlak & FUNtango” on Tuesday 4 December 2018 at 6 p.m.

Marko Hatlak is a renowned Slovenian accordionist whose music path began in the small town of Idrija, Slovenia, leading him to become a regular fixture on concert stages both at home and abroad since 2000. He has been performing with many solo artists, ensembles, orchestras and conductors which have led him to his unique and distinctive approach. The musical genres he performs – tango, ethno, baroque and contemporary – are brought  closer to the audience through music and story-telling, thus forming a genuine bond with  the listeners.
