Third Meeting of the Onchocerciasis Technical Advisory Subgroup (OTS)

Meeting Objectives :

1. To review the comparisons of diagnostic tools in order  to determine which Ov16 ELISA should be recommended for the development of training and quality assurance tools by WHO, to determine whether the Ov16 RDT performs comparably to the Ov16 ELISA, and discuss future diagnostic needs.

2. To review data from the onchocerciasis elimination mapping pilot and finalize the mapping strategy.

3. To create the timeline for the completion of the mapping and monitoring and evaluation manual.

4. Review milestones for the achievement of the SDGs.
