The goals of the meeting are to :
1. sensitize stakeholders to the importance of schistosomiasis in preschool children;
2. present the phase II results of Oral Dispersible Tablet (ODT) praziquantel;
3. outline the development steps towards commercial ODT praziquantel; and to
4. discuss resource mobilization for procurement and deployment of the ODTs to
treatment of young children for schistosomiasis.
