In light of the ongoing constraints imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person participation in the transition event and the ECOSOC HAS is limited to:
• invited speakers;
• States members of ECOSOC;
• States non-members of the Council (due to the limited availability of seats, representatives of States non-members of ECOSOC intending to participate in-person should register to request a seat in the conference room using the form available in the “Seating arrangements” of the participant’s guide for the meeting);
• A limited number of IGOs/observers, UN system entities and NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC who express an interest (see section on “Seating arrangements” in the participant’s guide of the meeting on how to express interest to obtain a seat).
