DESCRIPTION:The  Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD) 
 is an annual\, inclusive intergovernmental forum to support follow-up and 
 review of progress on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the 
 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the regional level.\nThis regional
  platform aims to inform\, empower\, and support Asia-Pacific countries (e
 specially least developed countries\, landlocked developing countries and 
 small island developing States) in their efforts to achieve the 17 Sustain
 able Development Goals and their targets set out by the 2030 Agenda by ide
 ntifying regional trends and sharing best practices and lessons learned. T
 he Forum convenes United Nations system bodies\, member States\, internati
 onal organisations\, civil society\, and other stakeholders whose reflecti
 ons feed into and inform the 2026 High-level Political Forum (HLPF) in New
  York\, which reviews sustainable development progress at the global level
 .\nThe 14th APFSD will be organized from 23 to 26 February 2027 under the 
 theme: “Scaling up just transitions to achieving sustainable development
 \, poverty eradication and the full implementation of the 2030 Agenda for 
 Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals at the Uni
 ted Nations Conference Center (UNCC) in Bangkok\, Thailand.\nIn alignment 
 with the focus of the 2026 HLPF\, the Forum will assess progress on the SD
 Gs under review: Goal 4 (Quality Education)\; Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalitie
 s)\; Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production)\; Goal 15 (Life on L
 and) and Goal 17 (Partnership for the Goals). Additionally\, the Forum wil
 l assess progress on the Follow-up on the Fourth International Conference 
 on Financing for Development. The Forum will provide a platform and sessio
 ns to support countries presenting their voluntary national reviews at the
  2027 HLPF.\n*Kindly note that participation in the plenary sessions and 
 the SDG roundtables is by invitation only. Registration for side/associate
 d events does not grant registrants access to closed sessions\; however\, 
 approved registrants may attend all open side/associated events for the du
 ration of the Forum.\nYour registration for the 14th APFSD also applies to
