DESCRIPTION:The IX Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Am
 ericas and the Caribbean will convene in Nassau\, the Commonwealth of The 
 Bahamas\, 8-11 March 2027\, in a hybrid format under the theme\, "Bold Dec
 isions for Resilient Futures: Governance for Innovation and Impact". The F
 orum will be hosted by the Government of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. 
 The IX Regional Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction in the Americas and t
 he Caribbean will be organized as an inclusive and hybrid event. Please in
 dicate in the registration if your participation will be in person or onli
 ne. Further information will be shared to approved registered participants
 .\nGiven the multi-stakeholder approach of the Regional Platform\, partici
 pants from the following groups are invited to register: Member States\, P
 arliamentarians\, Local Governments\, United Nations system entities\, Int
 ergovernmental Organizations\, private sector\, media\, major groups and o
 ther stakeholder groups.\nLa IX Plataforma Regional para la Reducción del
