DESCRIPTION:The FAO Liaison Office in Geneva\, together with the Permanent
  Missions of the Republic of Indonesia\, the Republic of Rwanda and the Re
 public of Türkiye to the United Nations in Geneva\, warmly invites you to
  the celebration of International Coffee Day on 1 October 2026.\n \nUnder
  the  theme “Celebrating Coffee\, Honouring the People Behind Every Cup
 ”\, this inaugural observance will highlight coffee’s economic\, socia
 l\, environmental and cultural significance\, as well as its vital contrib
 ution to livelihoods\, rural development\, food security and sustainable a
 grifood systems.  \n \nThe programme will feature high-level remarks an
 d an interactive dialogue with a diverse group of speakers working across 
 the coffee value chain.\n \nThe event will be followed by a coffee-tastin
 g and networking session\, celebrating the diversity of coffee traditions
