DESCRIPTION:Objectives for the meeting\nThe meeting seeks to advance a sha
 red vision for South-South cooperation data as a tool for solidarity\, vis
 ibility and stronger development cooperation. It will bring together coun
 tries and institutions of the Global South to review the achievements of t
 he pilot phase\, exchange experiences and shape the next generation of wor
 k on measuring South-South cooperation. It will provide a platform for pol
 icymakers\, statisticians and development cooperation practitioners to dis
 cuss priorities for scaling up data and its use to enhance South-South coo
 peration\, its impact and efficiency.\nDiscussions will focus on how data 
 can be used to strengthen national policies\, improve coordination and inc
 rease the visibility of South-South cooperation in global processes. Throu
 gh the launch of the Steering Committee on South-South Cooperation Data an
 d the South-South Data Fund\, the meeting will lay the foundations of coun
 try-led mechanisms to guide concepts and methodologies\, strengthen nation
 al capacities\, expand data collection across regions and ensure that Sout
 h-South cooperation is better recognized in national\, regional and global
  development processes. \nAs countries prepare for discussions on sustaina
 ble development beyond 2030\, strengthening evidence on South-South cooper
 ation is increasingly important to ensure that its contributions are visib
 le\, recognized and reflected in global development discussions.\nHeld bac
 k to back with the Asia-Pacific Directors-General Forum for South-South an
 d Triangular Cooperation\, the meeting will connect technical work with hi
