The High-Level meeting is to be convened by the Preside nt of the General Assembly and shall be held at United Nations Headquarter s in New York on 28 September 2026 during the general debate of the Assem bly at its eighty-first session\, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p .m.\;\nThe overall theme of the high-level meeting will be “Mobilizing g lobal public support for the full and effective implementation of the Durb an Declaration and Programme of Action.”\nAs guided by resolution A/RES/ 80/193 and A/RES/80/299 other relevant non-governmental organizations\, in cluding civil society organizations\, academic institutions\, and the priv ate sector\, whose work is relevant to the High-Level Meeting\, are also i nvited to participate.\nPlease Note \n\n\nEach Organization will be able to register up to two (2) representatives. If more than two are registered under one organization\, the Secretariat will approve registrations on a first-come first-serve basis\, with reference to the letter of representat ion provided by the Organization. \n\n\nParticipants must register individ ually via the relevant INDICO form. Bulk registrations are not permitted b y the system.\n\n\nPlease attach a letter of nomination from the President or Chief Executive Officer of your organization\, endorsing your particip ation in this meeting. \n\n\n\n\nSubmitting a registration does not guara ntee your in-person participation. You will receive an approval letter con firming your in-person participation if your registration is approved.\n\n \n*The deadline to register is 10 September 2026.\nSpecial Event Tickets ( SETs) for High-Level Meetings: For all UNGA high-level meetings and events \, civil society and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) must be registe red and approved through dedicated\, online registration processes for eac h event. At the conclusion of the registration processes\, partici pants will be notified of  the approval of their registration\, an d will also be informed of the date\, time and venue for the col lection of the required Special Event Tickets (SETs). To collect  the SETs\, approved participants will be required to present th e Letter of Approval that was sent to them by the United N ations\, as well as a Member State-issued photo ID\, such as a passport or a driver’s license\, etc.\n \nThe SETs will indicate the name  of the participant\, the specific meeting\, date and time of  th e event and thus\, they are not transferable. Participants will be requi red to carry the  SETs with them at all times while on UN premis es.\n \nThe issuance of Special Event Tickets is the responsib ility of the United Nations sponsoring office.\n \nThe access  point to the UN Headquarters complex will be on Second Avenue and 46th Street\, leading to the 47th Street and First Avenue entrance \, where attendees will enter one hour prior to the start of a m eeting or special event. Following mandatory security screening\, they w ill proceed to the meeting or event location.\n \n \nThe United Na tions Webcast services will provide live streaming coverage of the high-le vel segment in all available UN official languages\, through the UN Web TV website at: http://webtv.un.org. In addition\, Closed Captions and Transc ripts could be available on all recorded videos of the high-level segment. \n \nFurther information will be provided as it becomes available.
