The High Level meeting is to be convened by the President of the General Assembly and shall be held at United Nations Headquarters in New York on 25 September 2026 during the general debate of the Assembl y at its eighty-first session\, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and will consist of an opening segment\, a plenary segment\, two multistakeholder panels in p arallel with the plenary segment and a closing segment\;\n\nPanel 1: The w orld together: multilateral action for coordinated pandemic prevention\, p reparedness and response\, including sharing of best practices and lessons learnt so far\nPanel 2: Equitable access through sustainability and predi ctability: capacities and financing for strengthened pandemic preventions\ , preparedness and response\n\n \nThe overall theme of the high-level mee ting will be “Fostering a multilateral and intergenerational approach to prevent\, prepare for and respond to pandemics and public health emergenc ies\, through the principles of equity and solidarity.”\nAs guided by re solution A/RES/79/333 other relevant non-governmental organizations\, incl uding civil society organizations\, academic institutions\, and the privat e sector\, whose work is relevant to the High-Level Meeting\, are also inv ited to participate.\nPlease Note \n\n\nEach Organization will be able to register up to two (2) representatives. If more than two are registered u nder one organization\, the Secretariat will approve registrations on a fi rst-come first-serve basis\, with reference to the letter of representatio n provided by the Organization. \n\n\nParticipants must register individua lly via the relevant INDICO form. Bulk registrations are not permitted by the system.\n\n\nPlease attach a letter of nomination from the President o r Chief Executive Officer of your organization\, endorsing your participat ion in this meeting. \n\n\n\n\nSubmitting a registration does not guarant ee your in-person participation. You will receive an approval letter confi rming your in-person participation if your registration is approved.\n\n\n *The deadline to register is 10 September 2026.\nSpecial Event Tickets (SE Ts) for High-Level Meetings: For all UNGA high-level meetings and events\, civil society and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) must be registere d and approved through dedicated\, online registration processes for each event. At the conclusion of the registration processes\, participa nts will be notified of  the approval of their registration\, and will also be informed of the date\, time and venue for the colle ction of the required Special Event Tickets (SETs). To collect  the SETs\, approved participants will be required to present the  Letter of Approval that was sent to them by the United Na tions\, as well as a Member State-issued photo ID\, such as a passport or a driver’s license\, etc.\n \nThe SETs will indicate the name o f the participant\, the specific meeting\, date and time of  the  event and thus\, they are not transferable. Participants will be requir ed to carry the  SETs with them at all times while on UN premise s.\n \nThe issuance of Special Event Tickets is the responsibi lity of the United Nations sponsoring office.\n \nThe access  point to the UN Headquarters complex will be on Second Avenue and 46 th Street\, leading to the 47th Street and First Avenue entrance\, where attendees will enter one hour prior to the start of a meet ing or special event. Following mandatory security screening\, they will proceed to the meeting or event location.\n \n \nThe United Natio ns Webcast services will provide live streaming coverage of the high-level segment in all available UN official languages\, through the UN Web TV we bsite at: http://webtv.un.org. In addition\, Closed Captions and Transcrip ts could be available on all recorded videos of the high-level segment.\n  \nFurther information will be provided as it becomes available.
