DESCRIPTION:The Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea\, United
  Nations Office of Legal Affairs\, as the secretariat of the Regular Proce
 ss for Global Reporting and Assessment of the State of the Marine Environm
 ent\, including Socioeconomic Aspects\, (Regular Process)\, solicits the n
 omination of experts to participate in a workshop to support the implement
 ation of the fourth cycle of the Regular Process\, including capacity-buil
 ding components. The Workshop will cover the region of the Indian Ocean (i
 ncluding the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal)\, the Red Sea\, the Gulf o
 f Aden\, the ROPME/RECOFI area\, and the North and South Pacific.\nThe Wor
 kshop will be held from 9-11 December 2026 in Bangkok\, Thailand.\nThe thr
 ee-day regional scoping workshop will support the collection of region-spe
 cific information and data as part of the scoping phase for developing the
  annotated outline of the fourth World Ocean Assessment (WOA IV). In addit
 ion\, the workshop will raise awareness of the Regular Process and the Wor
 ld Ocean Assessments\, while encouraging experts to contribute to the prep
 aration of WOA IV. The draft agenda will be shared once available.\nNomine
