 e Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the 
 Paris Agreement (CMA)\, at its seventh session\, requested the Presidency 
 of the CMA to convene the Xingu Finance Talks under the Veredas Dialogue a
 nd in consultation with the co-chairs thereof as an annual high-level roun
 d table with a view to facilitating a cooperative exchange of views among 
 all interested Parties and non-Party stakeholders\, in particular academia
 \, international financial institutions and the private sector\, on practi
 cal solutions that address the challenges and opportunities in the impleme
 ntation of Article 2\, paragraph 1(c)\, of the Paris Agreement and its com
 plementarity with Article 9 of the Paris Agreement. \nDate: 13  October 
 2026\nVenue: Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC)\, Bangkok\,
