DESCRIPTION:\nBy decision 11/CMA.7\, Parties decided to hold deliberations
  under the Veredas Dialogue on the implementation of Article 2\, paragraph
  1(c)\, of the Paris Agreement and its complementarity with Article 9 of t
 he Paris Agreement\, building on the Sharm el-Sheikh dialogue (2023-2025
 ) and taking into account the concerns and safeguards outlined in paragrap
 h 3 of the same decision.\nAs part of ongoing intersessional engagement wi
 th Parties and non-Party stakeholders\, the co-chairs of the Veredas Dialo
 gue for 2026\, Debra-Lee Swanepoel (South Africa) and Ralien Bekkers (The 
 Netherlands)\, communicated their intent to\, to convene a series of tar
 geted virtual engagement sessions with stakeholders from across the financ
 ial system during the second half of September. The sessions will serve to
  follow up on issues emerging from the Veredas Dialogue and deepen the col
 lective understanding of practical approaches\, opportunities and challeng
 es associated with implementing Article 2\, paragraph1(c)\, of the Paris A
 greement and its complementarity with Article 9 of the Paris Agreement. \
 nParticipation: In addition to invited stakeholders\, the technical sessio
 ns will be open for attendance by all interested Parties and non-Party sta
 keholders\, with a view to following the discussions.\n\n \n\nSession 1:
