 ndThe Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to 
 the Paris Agreement (CMA)\, at its seventh session\, requested the Preside
 ncy of the CMA to convene the Xingu Finance Talks under the Veredas Dialog
 ue and in consultation with the co-chairs thereof as an annual high-level 
 round table with a view to facilitating a cooperative exchange of views am
 ong all interested Parties and non-Party stakeholders\, in particular acad
 emia\, international financial institutions and the private sector\, on pr
 actical solutions that address the challenges and opportunities in the imp
 lementation of Article 2\, paragraph 1(c)\, of the Paris Agreement and its
  complementarity with Article 9 of the Paris Agreement. \nA preparatory s
 ession\, the ‘Xingu Finance Talks: Workshop on Practical Solutions’ wi
 ll be organized in an open and inclusive manner on Sunday\, 11 October 202
 6 in conjunction with the Bangkok Climate Action Week.\nProgramme: Provisi
