DESCRIPTION:This platform is used to register as your organization's media
  focal point. The purpose is to establish a single point of contact who is
  designated to assign media personnel moving forward. \nPlease do not sub
 mit your application until all assigned staff have registered on our Onlin
 e Registration System (ORS) following the steps on this webpage. \nThis a
 pplication must include a letter of assignment and a list of assigned medi
 a personnel. \nThe letter of assignment must: \n\nBe on the organization
 ’s official letterhead\;  \n\n\n\n\n\nBe addressed to the UN Climate C
 hange Press Office\; \n\nBe from the media focal point's supervisor (if n
 ot most senior role at organization) \n\n\n\n\n\nInclude the focal point
 ’s full name and position\;  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nConfirm that the focal poin
 t is authorized by the organization to assign staff for the meeting\;  \
 n\nSpecify the meeting and dates to be covered\;  \n\n\n\n\n\nBe signed 
 by the focal point’s supervisor\;  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInclude the super
 visor’s contact information\;  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nInclude links to the orga
 nization’s website\;  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nState the type of coverage planned
 \, such as news reporting\, photo\, video or documentary coverage.  \n
 \n\n \n\n\nThe list of assigned media personnel must include:\n \n\n\n\n
 \nFull names as shown on ID\;  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nEmail addresses used for OR
 S applications\;  \n\n\n\n\n\n\nRoles\, such as journalist\, camerapers
 on or audio technician. \n\n\n \n\n\nIf approved\, the media focal poin
 t will receive a confirmation email and corresponding ORS registrations fr
 om assigned personnel will be approved automatically. \n \n\n\nChanges t
 o the list of assigned personnel should be sent to press@unfccc.int. \n\
 n\n \nDecisions\, Appeals\, and Revocation\n\nAccreditation decisions are
  at the discretion of UNFCCC\, applying this policy consistently and witho
 ut discrimination.\nIf accreditation is denied\, the applicant (or editor)
  may request a brief written explanation and may submit one appeal with ad
 ditional supporting information.\nAccreditation may be revoked if:\n\nFals
 e information or fraudulent documents are discovered.\nUN staff is unable 
 to verify the existence of the outlet/editor.\n\nEditors may submit up to 
 two amended assigned personnel lists to the Press office.\n\n \n\nhttps:/
