DESCRIPTION:The Working Group\, comprising 20 member States and 20 civil s
 ociety organizations\, play a vital role in providing technical advice and
  support to promote the full and effective implementation of the Jakarta D
 eclaration on the Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities\, 
 2023–2032.\n \nThe session aims to:\n\nReview progress in the implement
 ation of the new Decade\;\nShare experience and good practices related to 
 the Six Priority Areas for Action:\n\nHarmonizing national legislation wi
 th the CRPD\;\nPromoting meaningful participation of persons with disabili
 ties\;\nEnhancing physical and digital accessibility\;\nEngaging the priva
 te sector\;\nApplying a gender-responsive\, life-cycle approach to disabil
 ity policies\;\nClosing disability data gaps and strengthening tracking ca
 pacities.\n\nDiscuss the strategies for advancing the implementation of th
 e new Decade\, including opportunities for collaboration and partnerships.
