DESCRIPTION:The Fifth Ministerial Conference on Transport will be convened
  in Bangkok from 17 to 20 November 2026 pursuant to ESCAP Resolution 78/3.
  The Conference will provide a regional platform for members\, associate m
 embers and stakeholders to discuss strategies for scaling up sustainable t
 ransport initiatives in Asia and the Pacific and strengthening regional co
 operation.\nThe Conference will:\n\nassess the implementation of the Regio
 nal Action Programme for Sustainable Transport Development in Asia and the
  Pacific (2022–2026)\; and\nconsider and adopt the Ministerial Declarati
 on on Sustainable Transport Development in Asia and the Pacific\, includin
 g a new regional action programme for 2027–2031 aligned with the 2030 Ag
 enda for Sustainable Development and United Nations Decade of Sustainable 
 Transport.\n\n \nThe Conference will comprise:\n\na Senior Officials Segm
 ent on 17–18 November 2026\; and\na Ministerial Segment on 19–20 Novem
 ber 2026.\n\n \nThe working languages of the Conference will be Chinese\,
