DESCRIPTION:The Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea\, United
  Nations Office of Legal Affairs\, as the secretariat of the UN Regular Pr
 ocess\, solicits the nomination of experts to participate in the workshop 
 on the support of the implementation of the fourth cycle of the Regular Pr
 ocess\, including capacity-building components for the South Atlantic (bet
 ween the African and American coasts) and the Wider Caribbean regions.\nTh
 e five-day regional workshop will focus on the support of the implementati
 on of the fourth cycle of the Regular Process\, including capacity-buildin
 g components. It will contribute to the scoping exercise and the developme
 nt of the annotated outline for the fourth World Ocean Assessment (WOA IV)
 . Moreover\, the workshop will aim to build regional capacity to engage in
  the assessment process as well as collect regional-level data\, raise awa
 reness of the Regular Process\, and encourage contributions from the scien
 tific community to the drafting of the assessment.\nThe Workshop will be h
 eld from 17 to 21 August 2026 in Rio de Janeiro\, Brazil. \nNominees for 
 the in-person Workshop must register through the respective form by 8 Jul
