 l Assembly resolution A/RES/80/256\, the General Assembly will convene a H
 igh-Level Meeting on HIV/AIDS on 22 and 23 June 2026 at the UN Headquarter
 s in New York. \nThis meeting will review progress against HIV since the
  2021 High-Level Meeting and produce a new UN Political Declaration on H
 IV and AIDS. UN Member States will negotiate the text of the 2026 Politica
 l Declaration and consider its adoption.\nThe new UN Political Declaration
  on HIV and AIDS will establish the direction of the global HIV response f
 or the next five years\; it serves as the only global accountability mecha
 nism for all UN Member States’ efforts on HIV/AIDS.\nVenue: United Natio
