DESCRIPTION:In accordance with General Assembly resolution 79/327 and prev
 ious resolutions on the revitalization of the work of the General Assembly
 \, the President of the General Assembly will convene interactive dialogue
 s with all candidates for the position of UN Secretary-General and welcome
 s the continued engagement of civil society in the dialogues.\nThe Preside
 nt of the General Assembly invites Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to e
 xpress interest in asking a question to the candidates for their response 
 during interactive dialogues. \nCSOs may register their interest in partic
 ipating either in person at United Nations Headquarters in New York or vir
 tually in the interactive dialogues and can indicate their interest in pos
 ing a question addressing key thematic areas to the candidates for the UN 
 Secretary-General. The deadline to register is 17 June 2026\, 9 a.m. EDT.
  \nThe process for civil society participation is designed to ensure fair
  access\, thematic balance as well as broad\, inclusive participation. \n
 Information about the candidates\, the selection and appointment process i
 s available on the website: https://www.un.org/en/sg-selection-and-appoint
 ment.\nThe next round of interactive dialogues is scheduled to start on 15
  June 2026.\nIn-Person Participation\n·       Civil Society Organiz
 ations seeking in-person participation must indicate the relevant time slo
 t and thematic area(s) under which they intend to raise a question. CSOs a
 re asked to submit the outline of the question in writing through this reg
 istration form. \n·       Registrations for in-person participation
  will be reviewed with due regard to balanced thematic and stakeholder rep
 resentation and be based on a lottery. Please note that due to time and ca
 pacity constraints\, a limited number of CSO representatives will be invit
 ed to pose questions from the floor. CSOs will be informed by 17 June whet
 her they have been selected (1) to attend a dialogue in person and (2) to 
 pose a question.\n·       If you are invited to ask a question\, pl
 ease keep in mind that speaking time in the room will be limited to 60 sec
 onds and strictly enforced through the use of automatic microphone cut-off
 s.\nIn person participants approved to attend on 15 June do not need to re
 -register for 18 June attendance. You will automatically be issued an SET 
 for 18 June.\nVirtual Participation\n·       Civil Society Organiza
 tions seeking virtual participation and are interested in posing a questio
 n must submit thematic area(s) under which they intend to raise a question
  and the outline of the question in writing through this registration form
 . \n·       Questions which will be asked virtually will be reviewe
 d with due regard to balanced thematic and stakeholder representation and 
 selected via a lottery. CSOs will be informed by 17 June whether they have
  been selected and be asked to provide a pre-recorded video question of ma
 ximum 60 seconds. You do not need to re-submit virtual questions previousl
 y submitted in the earlier call\, as these will be considered for this or 
 future dialogues.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPlease note:\n·       Registerin
 g and indicating the interest in posing a question does not guarantee sele
 ction. Selected participants for interventions will be contacted with furt
 her information for an in-person participation or the submission of a pre-
 recorded video question.\n·       The questions should be on the fo
 llowing categories for all candidates: \no   Proven leadership abilities
 \, Experience and Skills of the candidates\no   UN Reform / UN80 Reform 
 initiative\no   Peace and Security\no   Development\no   Human Right
 s\n·       CSOs participating virtually will be able to follow the 
 dialogues via UN Web TV and if you are not indicating your interest in pos
 ing a question\, you do not need to register via this portal but can view 
 it online on UN WebTV.\n·       Questions for the dialogues should
