SRHR Coalition meeting (Geneva, March 26,27) - SALLE B

The SRHR Advocacy Coalition has evolved over 18 months into a structured group addressing the global backlash against sexual and reproductive health and rights. Following an April 2025 in-person meeting that identified gaps in coordination and acknowledged the sector's own fragmentation issues, the coalition conducted an August survey identifying three strategic priorities: sustaining SRHR funding, protecting services in health priorities, and strengthening political leadership. By December 2025, the coalition had established three working groups aligned with these priorities, and
continues to address challenges including the Global Gag Rule expansion, U.S. Global Health Compacts, and proposed UN agency mergers, while emphasizing the need for broader systemic advocacy beyond single-issue focus and improved coordination across the fragmented SRHR movement.
