The UNFSU Council Meeting or Field Staff Council Meeting (FSC Meeting) is convened annually (or more frequently if required) by the UNFSU Executive. It requires 50% of the Council to constitute a quorum.
The Council comprises the UNFSU Executive and Chairs of UNFSU Committees or designated alternates.
Role of the Council:
a. Raises mission specific and global concerns and issues.
b. Assists the Executive in formulating positions and setting policies.
c. Makes decisions through voting as required.
d. Approves a budget and expenditures.
e. Implements decisions taken by referendum or by an Arbitration Committee, if and when required.
